This special awards luncheon honors those who put their lives on the line every day, Jackson County?s public safety professionals. All first responders will be recognized and honored including firefighters, police and emergency personnel. The program features the presentation of the Medal of Valor, Public Safety Professional of the Year, Public Safety Unit of the Year and the Medal of Merit.
