Exchange Bank is pleased to announce plans to expand its presence into Braselton, Georgia, with a new full-service branch set to open in the spring of 2026.

Exchange Bank opened its doors on June 1, 1903, at its original location in downtown Milledgeville, Georgia. The bank was founded by three brothers of the Conn family, whose vision was to create a trusted financial institution dedicated to supporting their community.
For 122 years, Exchange Bank has continued to grow while staying true to that vision. The bank has consistently positioned itself as both customer- and community-focused, using its slogan “Where Community Matters” as a guiding principle for decision-making and community engagement. This deep-rooted commitment has allowed Exchange Bank to build strong relationships across generations, fostering trust and local impact.

Today, Exchange Bank operates four full-service locations: two in Milledgeville, one in Gray, and one in Lake Oconee, Georgia. The upcoming Braselton branch will be the bank’s fifth location.
